isPermaLink="false">http://www.lotusseedsdesign.com/blog/?p=199#comment-192

Thanks for the tutorial, having some slight issues, wondering if you know of any quick fixes.
I'm using sprites for my menus to match our overall layout and look, but can't get the menu tabs to show their active sprite state when in the sub ul's.
Currently I'm calling out the sprite skinning by having the ul use an id:

Then I have the CSS switch the sprite bg depending on which li id the mouse is on:

#nav { width:369px; height:24px; float:right; position:relative; z-index:1500; }
#nav li span { display:none; }
#nav li, #nav a { height:24px; display:block; }
#nav li { float:left; list-style:none; display:inline; }
#nav li#products { width:79px; }
#nav a { background: url(../images/btn-header-navBar.gif) no-repeat 0 0; }
/*#nav ul a { background: url(../images/spacer.gif) no-repeat 0 0; }*/
/* Main Nav Bar BTNs */
#nav li#products a { background-position: 0 0; }
#nav li#products a:hover,
#nav li#products a:active,
#nav #products li:hover,
#nav #products li:active { background-position: 0 -27px; }

Any solutions you know of? Thanks for humoring me.

Thanks for the tutorial, having some slight issues, wondering if you know of any quick fixes.

I’m using sprites for my menus to match our overall layout and look, but can’t get the menu tabs to show their active sprite state when in the sub ul’s.

Currently I’m calling out the sprite skinning by having the ul use an id:<br

I have spent a good bit of time trying to figure it out, but I just can't seem to put my finger on it. The site is nurserycouture.com. If you could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks so much!

I am working on a site in which I used this tutorial, and for some reason, the mouseOut delay is not working.
