The Feng Shui demo store truly demonstrate multi-store feature of Magento using one root catalog, for example, at "Fengshui Store" category you are presented a categories listing page, in which a brief description is pulled from meta description and the bamboo image is uploaded in parent category, when you navigate to the sub-category (e.g. Fengshui Living), it shows different product description with a category image (mahogany red chest which is presented in Category listing page) - these are all done in the same Category page in the Admin. Now navigate to one of the sub-category of "Apparel , you can see a large category image with no description. Jump over to the Art Shop Demo Store > Feng Shui store category, the category listing page and the bamboo image are gone - these are are done using different settings in category in the admin. In the homepage, category listing and product listing page, we show a middle section (for wp rss feed, twitter feed and random product); at product view page, other cms pages, we disable the middle section.
